The company recently won a significant Rs 264 crore order from East Central Railway for the "Kavach" train collision avoidance system across 607 route kilometers, to be completed by July 2027. This follows other substantial contracts, including a Rs 17.47 crore contract from the Chhattisgarh GAD for integrated communication infrastructure and a Rs 299.95 crore order from the Indian Air Force for a secure OPS network. They also secured Rs 259 crore in educational sector projects in Bihar and Himachal Pradesh.
RailTel's order book remains strong, standing at Rs 7,018 crore as of early July 2025, with approximately 70% from non-railway projects, indicating successful diversification. The company aims to secure at least Rs 4,000 crore in new orders in FY25. Strategically, RailTel signed an MoU with NBCC (India) Limited in April 2025 to jointly develop data center infrastructure in India and internationally.
Financially, RailTel reported a total income of ₹3,551 crore for FY25, a 35% growth year-on-year, and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹300 crore, up 22%. Their Q4 FY25 performance also showed significant growth in revenue and PAT. The company was also granted "Navratna" status in August 2024, recognizing its operational autonomy and strong performance.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor#FundamentalViews#EquityResearch#PersonalFinance
