New Order Win: RVNL has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Central Railway for ₹115.79 crore. The project involves "OHE Modification Work for Up-gradation of existing 1x25 KV Electric Traction System to 2x25 KV at Feeding System in Itarsi - Amla Section in Nagpur Division of Central Railway to meet 3000 MT Loading Target." The project is to be executed within 24 months. This order win is considered part of the normal course of the company's business. Board Meeting: A Board Meeting is scheduled for May 21, 2025. The agenda includes considering and approving the recommendation of the final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The board will also consider and approve the audited financial results (standalone & consolidated) for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. Analyst Views: General Information about RVNL: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited is a Miniratna Category-I CPSE under the Ministry of Railways. It was incorporated in 2003 with the objective of undertaking rail infrastructure projects rapidly. RVNL undertakes projects including new lines, gauge conversion, doubling, railway electrification, bridges, workshops, and major maintenance of track & rolling stock. The main promoter is the President of India, holding a significant share (around 72-78%). RVNL also explores opportunities in other infrastructure sectors like roads, highways, and metro rail projects. Order Book: As of December 2024, RVNL's order book was around ₹97,000 crore. This included orders from both nomination (around 49%) and bidding (around 51%). A portion of the order book (around ₹4,500 crore as of December 2024) is from the international market. RVNL secured a ₹554.64 crore project from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) in March 2025 for the construction of a 6-lane access-controlled connectivity project in Andhra Pradesh. The order inflow (LOA + L1) for the first three quarters of FY25 was around ₹25,000 crore.
