Q4 FY26 Financial Results For the final quarter ended March 31, 2026, Tata Steel reported a 147% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to ₹2,965 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 12.54% year-on-year to hit ₹63,270 crore. Strong performance was primarily driven by higher domestic steel sales volumes and improved price realizations in the Indian market. Full-Year FY26 Earnings Turnaround For the complete fiscal year 2025-26, the steel manufacturer's consolidated net profit tripled, climbing to ₹10,886 crore from ₹3,174 crore in FY25. Annual consolidated revenue registered at ₹2,32,140 crore, while consolidated EBITDA grew 35% year-on-year to reach ₹34,848 crore, reflecting an operating margin expansion of 320 basis points to 15%. Dividend and Record Date Announced The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of 400%, translating to ₹4 per equity share of face value ₹1 each for FY26. The corporate payout is subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for July 2, 2026. The company has designated June 12, 2026, as the official record date to determine dividend eligibility. Acquisition of TM International Logistics Stake Tata Steel's board approved the acquisition of an additional 23% equity stake (41,40,000 shares) in its joint venture, TM International Logistics Limited (TMILL), from IQ Martrade Holding for ₹335 crore. Upon completing the transaction, Tata Steel’s ownership in TMILL will rise to 74%, while the remaining 26% will continue to be held by NYK. Green Energy and Expansion InitiativesIn line with its sustainability target of lowering emissions below 0.3 $tCO_2e$ per ton of crude steel, Tata Steel commissioned its 0.75 MTPA scrap-based Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) in Ludhiana, Punjab, involving a corporate investment of approximately ₹3,200 crore. Concurrently, progress remains underway on the next phase of value-accretive expansion at its Neelachal facility.
