Financial Performance and Growth Tilaknagar Industries has continued its strong financial performance. In Q1 FY26, the company's net profit saw a significant increase of 120% year-over-year to ₹89 crore, while revenue grew by 30.6%. This strong performance was driven by a 26.5% increase in sales volume, with the company seeing a boost in market share, particularly in the Southern region of India. The company has also been recognized as the fastest-growing Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) company of scale for the second consecutive year. Imperial Blue Acquisition The company is moving forward with its planned acquisition of the Imperial Blue whisky brand from Pernod Ricard. The deal, valued at approximately €413 million, will mark Tilaknagar Industries' entry into the whisky segment. The company has approved a fundraising plan of up to ₹2,296 crore through a preferential issue of equity shares and warrants to help finance this acquisition. The acquisition is currently awaiting approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI), which the company anticipates receiving by the end of 2025. Expansion and Investments Tilaknagar Industries is expanding its production capabilities to support future growth. The company's board has approved a capital expenditure of ₹25 crore to increase the bottling capacity of its subsidiary, Prag Distillery, in Andhra Pradesh. This expansion is expected to boost the distillery's capacity from six lakh cases per year to 36 lakh cases per year. The company has also made strategic investments, including increasing its stake in the craft spirits company, Spaceman Spirits Lab, to 21.36%.
