UTI Asset Management Company (UTI AMC) Latest Updates

UTIAMC
Major Leadership Transition A significant leadership change took effect on February 1, 2026, with Mr. Vetri Subramaniam taking charge as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer. He succeeded Mr. Imtaiyazur Rahman, who completed his tenure on January 31, 2026. This transition marks a new chapter for the company’s strategic and operational direction. Q3 FY26 Financial Performance For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, UTI AMC reported a consolidated Net Profit of ₹121 crore, representing a 20% year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to ₹151 crore in the previous year. This drop was largely due to one-time exceptional charges totaling approximately ₹108.5 crore, related to a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) for 184 employees and costs associated with the New Labour Code. However, total revenue from operations grew by 24% YoY to reach ₹517 crore. Corporate Actions & ESOPs On March 9, 2026, the company's Nomination and Remuneration Committee approved the allotment of 906 equity shares under the Employee Stock Option Scheme–2007. This followed an earlier allotment of 1,927 shares in February. While the numbers are small, these allotments marginally increased the company's total paid-up share capital to ₹1,28,52,00,360. Dividend and Shareholding Pattern The company maintains a healthy dividend-paying track record, with a trailing dividend yield of approximately 4.5% to 5%. In the current fiscal year (FY26), a total dividend of ₹48 per share (including a ₹22 special dividend) was paid to shareholders on record as of July 24, 2025. The shareholding pattern remains unique for its sector, with zero promoter holding; ownership is distributed among Domestic Institutional Investors (approx. 35%), Retail investors (33%), and Mutual Funds/Insurance companies.
