Major Strategic Deal & Acquisition Wipro has secured a landmark 8-year, $1 billion+ strategic transformation contract with the Singapore-based food and agri-business giant, Olam Group. As a core part of this deal, Wipro will acquire Mindsprint (Olam’s internal IT and digital services arm) for $375 million. The acquisition includes a workforce of over 3,200 employees and is expected to close by the end of June 2026. The partnership aims to use Wipro's AI platforms to overhaul Olam’s "farm-to-fork" supply chain and trading operations. Leadership & Structural Changes Effective April 1, 2026, Wipro implemented a significant management realignment to prioritize its AI capabilities. Nagendra Bandaru has transitioned to lead the newly established AI-Native Business & Platforms unit as CEO. Concurrently, Kanwar Singh, a former Accenture veteran, has been appointed as President and Managing Partner of Technology Services. Additionally, Suzanne Dann, CEO of the Americas-2 unit, is set to step down on May 3, 2026. Q4 FY26 Financial ContextWipro released its earnings schedule for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year in early April. In the preceding period (Q3 FY26), the company reported a 5.5% YoY revenue growth to ₹23,556 crore, though net profits saw a slight sequential decline of 4% due to the implementation of new labor codes. The company has guided for IT Services revenue in the range of $2,635 million to $2,688 million for the current reporting cycle.
