Latest Contract Wins In the final quarter of 2025, Zen Technologies secured multiple high-value contracts from the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Notably, in December 2025, it won a ₹120 crore contract to establish India’s first Combat Training Node (CTN) at the Infantry School in Mhow. This followed a ₹108 crore order in late November for tank gunnery simulators and a major ₹289 crore contract in early November for rapid upgrades to Anti-Drone Systems (ADS). These orders typically carry a 12-month execution timeline. Product & Strategic Expansion The company is aggressively expanding its international presence, recently showcasing AI-enabled training systems at the I/ITSEC 2025 exhibition in the United States. Key innovations include next-generation virtual simulation for naval forces and AR-based air defense simulators. Strategically, Zen completed the 100% acquisition of Applied Research International (ARI) in October 2025, a move designed to solidify its leadership in the maritime and naval simulation sectors. Financial Performance The financial results for Q2 FY2025-26 (ending September 2025) presented a mixed picture. Standalone revenue grew by roughly 49% year-on-year to ₹124.65 crore, supported by a robust order book. However, consolidated revenue saw a decline of approximately 28% compared to the previous year, partly due to the deconsolidation of its subsidiary, AI-Turing Technologies, where its stake was reduced to 49%. The company’s total consolidated order book remains strong at over ₹675 crore. Patents and Intellectual Property Zen continues to reinforce its "moat" through intellectual property. In 2025, it secured several new patents, including its 54th Indian patent for an Advanced Military Training System and another for a Basic Gunnery Training Simulator. These patents are part of a strategy to protect indigenous IP and maintain a competitive edge as a preferred single-vendor for the Indian MoD.
