Financial Performance: The company's Q1 FY2025-26 results showed a decline in revenue and net profit compared to the previous quarter and the same period last year. Consolidated revenue for the quarter was ₹158.22 crore and net profit stood at ₹47.75 crore. However, the company maintains a robust financial position with significant liquidity. The company also registered its highest-ever quarterly and annual performance in the previous fiscal year, FY2024-25, surpassing its guidance for revenue and margins. Orders and Contracts: Zen Technologies has been awarded a contract worth ₹152 crore by the Ministry of Defence for the supply of its Integrated Air Defence Combat Simulator (IADCS) for the L70 Gun. The company also anticipates significant orders for anti-drone systems and simulators, with management expressing confidence in securing a substantial order inflow in the current fiscal year. The company's consolidated order book stood at ₹754 crore. Product Development and Innovation: Zen Technologies has unveiled India's first AI-enabled Fast Attack Craft (FAC) Simulator for naval training, designed to prepare naval crews for modern maritime warfare. The company has also secured several patents for its products, including a T90 Tank Simulator and an Automated Hard Kill Firearm Mounting System, reinforcing its focus on indigenous technology. Strategic Acquisitions: The company has been actively pursuing strategic acquisitions to expand its defense portfolio. In early 2025, Zen Technologies acquired a majority stake in Applied Research International (ARI) Simulation and also made strategic investments in Vector Technics and Bhairav Robotics, which are focused on drone components and autonomous weapons systems, respectively.
