$ZENSARTECH Q1 FY27 Financial Results & Profit Margin Shifts In its Q1 FY27 financial results released in late July 2026, Zensar reported an 8.9% year-on-year increase in consolidated operational revenue to ₹1,508.30 crore ($159.5 million, up 1.1% QoQ in constant currency). Consolidated net profit (PAT) grew 1% YoY to ₹183.80 crore, though it registered a 12.7% sequential drop from Q4 FY26 due to ~2% upfront transition and pre-staffing costs for executing a major new deal. EBITDA margins stood at 14.65%. Vertical & Regional Growth Drivers Top-line growth during the quarter was led by the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) vertical, which surged 8.3% QoQ and 14.7% YoY in constant currency, driven by initial revenue execution from new client accounts. Geographically, the U.S. region expanded 2.5% QoQ in constant currency, which helped cushion temporary softness across the Healthcare & Life Sciences (-3.8% QoQ) and Telecommunications (-9.1% QoQ) segments. Ramp-up of $210 Million Mega Deal Execution moved into full gear for Zensar’s 5.5-year, $210 million framework deal signed with a major global financial services institution. To support the project, Zensar accelerated talent onboarding, expanding its total employee workforce by 5.2% QoQ (1,451 gross hires) and bringing resource utilization up to 85.1%. Launch of ***** & Tech Alliances In July 2026, Zensar launched ***** a specialized platform designed to validate, secure, and govern enterprise AI platforms and modern SAP deployments. In industry recognitions, Everest Group positioned Zensar as a Leader in its Guidewire Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2026 and a Major Contender for Oracle Cloud Applications Services. Balance Sheet Strength & Low Attrition Zensar closed Q1 FY27 with net cash and cash equivalents of $317.5 million. Operating cash flow generation remained strong at over 70% of EBITDA.
