Indian Army
• Approval for procurement of Thermal Imager-based Driver Night Sights for BMP Infantry Combat Vehicles.
• These sights will significantly improve night-time navigation and combat efficiency of mechanised infantry units.
Indian Navy
• Approval for Compact Autonomous Surface Craft for anti-submarine warfare, enhancing underwater threat detection and engagement.
• Clearance for new BrahMos Fire Control Systems and Launchers to boost sea-strike power.
• Upgradation of the BARAK 1 Point Defence Missile System to enhance close-range ship defence.
Indian Air Force
• Procurement of Mountain Radars to strengthen surveillance in high-altitude, mountainous regions along the northern borders.
• Modernisation of the SAKSHAM/SPYDER air defence system and integration with the IACCS (Integrated Air Command and Control System).
Tri-services (Army, Navy, Air Force)
• Procurement of Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Armed Drones, capable of long-duration surveillance and strike missions.
• These drones will be produced domestically with over 60% indigenous components, supporting the Make in India initiative.
