Net profit came in at ₹509.6 crore, marginally down by 1.9 percent compared to ₹519.5 crore in Q4 FY24. Profit before tax also declined. The combined ratio for the quarter was 102.5 percent, slightly higher than the year-ago period. Other Key Metrics The solvency ratio remained strong at 2.69 times as of March 31, 2025, well above regulatory requirements. The company announced a final dividend of ₹7 per share, taking the overall dividend for FY25 to ₹12.50 per share. Outlook and Risks Premium growth is expected to remain healthy, particularly in health, motor, and retail general insurance segments. Profitability depends on claim ratios and expense management, and unexpected claim surges could pressure margins. Regulatory and accounting changes may also affect revenue recognition and performance comparisons. With robust return ratios and a strong solvency position, the company is well placed for growth, though maintaining combined ratio near or below 100 percent will be important for sustaining profitability.
