Siemens Energy India Ltd — Recent Performance & Outlook

ENRIN
Siemens Energy India Ltd reported robust growth in its latest quarter, with net profit rising 36% year-on-year to ₹246 crore from ₹180 crore previously. Total income increased sharply to ₹1,894 crore compared to ₹1,197 crore in the same quarter last year. The transmission segment revenue grew to ₹1,013 crore, while the power generation segment rose to ₹866 crore, both showing healthy double-digit expansion driven by higher project execution and strong demand in the power infrastructure sector. Following its demerger from Siemens Ltd, the company listed in June 2025 with significant investor interest. It now operates as a focused power and transmission solutions provider. The order book as of March 2025 stood at approximately ₹15,100 crore, over twice its FY24 revenue, ensuring strong revenue visibility for the next few years. Operationally, EBIT margins improved due to cost control and improved execution efficiency. On the capacity front, Siemens Energy India is undertaking a ₹460 crore capex plan to double its power transformer manufacturing capacity, as current utilization remains around 60%. Analysts project strong future growth, with Jefferies estimating around 34% CAGR in revenue and 50% CAGR in EPS between FY24 and FY27, supported by India’s rising investments in power grid expansion and renewable integration. The company’s key strengths include a robust order pipeline, technological expertise, and backing from Siemens AG’s global energy business. However, risks remain in the form of input cost pressures, execution delays, and high investor expectations already priced into valuations. Overall, Siemens Energy India is well-positioned to capitalize on India’s transmission and grid modernization wave. Its growing capacity, strong balance sheet, and sustained order inflows make it one of the emerging leaders in India’s power equipment and energy infrastructure space.
