APOLLOHOSP
A 52-Week High on Results Eve | Apollo Hospitals

APOLLOHOSP
Apollo Hospitals hit a 52-week high of Rs 9,050 during Tuesday's session, touching that level for the first time, even as the broader market snapped its four-day winning streak and Nifty fell 159 points to 24,614. That kind of resilience — a fresh peak on a down day for the index — is a signal worth paying attention to. The stock has covered significant ground to get here. The 52-week low stands at Rs 6,696.50, meaning Apollo has gained over 35 per cent from its bottom in just 12 months. Over the past six months alone, the stock is up 27.7 per cent and over the past year it has risen 19.87 per cent, making it one of the strongest performers in the Nifty healthcare pack this calendar year. The next concrete catalyst is close. Apollo's board meets on August 12 to approve Q1 FY27 results, with the trading window already closed until August 14. Jefferies has a Buy rating on the stock ahead of Q1, expecting hospital revenue growth in the high teens year on year, aided by improving HealthCo profitability. Q1 FY26 revenue was Rs 5,842 crore and PAT was Rs 441 crore — the base against which Q1 FY27 will be measured, with analyst estimates pointing to revenue in the Rs 6,526 to Rs 7,351 crore range for the June quarter. A cash dividend of Rs 10 per share has been declared with an ex-date of August 14, adding an income angle for short-term holders heading into the results week. With RBI policy outcome also due this morning, markets could swing sharply in either direction. Apollo's defensive healthcare positioning — combined with a fresh 52-week high and a results date just six days away — makes it one of the more watched names in Wednesday's session.
