After a long weekend and the final washout of FY26, Nifty enters FY27 at a critical crossroads. While Monday’s close at 22,331 was painful, global cues over the holiday suggest a "relief bounce" might be on the cards for tomorrow morning. Technical Setup for Wednesday: The Bullish Trigger: GIFT Nifty is currently trading at a premium (near 22,580), indicating a potential gap-up opening of 100+ points. Immediate Resistance: 22,500 – 22,600. This zone, which was support last week, is now a heavy supply zone. Nifty needs to sustain above 22,550 for at least an hour to trap the bears. Crucial Support: 22,250 – 22,300. If the gap-up fails to hold and we slip below 22,300, the "Sell on Rise" structure remains intact. Strategy for StockGro Leagues (April 1st): Don't Chase the Gap: Avoid jumping into long positions in the first 15 minutes. Let the "April Fool’s" initial volatility settle. If Nifty retests 22,450 and bounces, that’s your entry. Sector Focus: With crude oil still hovering near $115, stick with Metals (Hindalco/NALCO) and Energy (ONGC). They showed massive relative strength during Monday's crash and are likely to lead the recovery. Risk Note: India VIX is still high (~26). High volatility means wider stops are needed, but for your average-fixing strategy, keep them tight and book profits at the first sign of reversal.
