Axis Bank Slides Post Q4, Recovers from Lows Amid Mixed Earnings Signals

shares declined sharply by as much as 4.83% in morning trade on April 27, 2026, following its Q4 results. Profit remained largely flat, slipping 0.6% YoY to ₹7,071.3 crore, while net interest income rose 4.7% to ₹14,457.2 crore. However, a sharp 159.1% surge in provisions to ₹3,522.2 crore weighed on sentiment. On the asset quality front, Gross NPA improved to 1.23% and Net NPA to 0.37% on a QoQ basis. The board approved fundraising plans worth ₹55,000 crore via equity and debt.
