Banking Sector Weakness Hits IndusInd Bank; Shares Slide Sharply

Shares of

INDUSINDBK
extended losses on 12 March, slipping below the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) during the session as weak earnings and sector pressure weighed on sentiment. The stock had already declined ~2.4% on March 11 to around ₹877.15, and fell as much as ~5.6% on March 12, marking a two-day drop of nearly 7.9%. Broader banking sector weakness also contributed, with private banks facing selling pressure after a sharp correction in Nifty Bank. Technically, the stock traded below its 5, 20, 50 and 100-day moving averages, and breached the 200-day MA intraday, highlighting bearish momentum in the counter. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
