CAPLIPOINT
shares came under pressure on August 24, 2026, falling nearly 3% in morning trade after the company disclosed that its Caplin Steriles facility at Gummidipoondi had received a Form 483 from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA). The regulator conducted an unannounced inspection of the injectable and ophthalmic manufacturing facility between August 13 and 21. At the conclusion of the inspection, the US FDA issued a Form 483 containing 10 observations. Importantly, Caplin Point said the observations are procedural in nature and do not relate to data integrity. The company also stated that none of the observations were repeat observations. Despite Monday’s decline, the stock’s broader performance remains strong. Caplin Point Laboratories shares have gained more than 42% so far in calendar year 2026. The stock touched a fresh all-time high of ₹2,699 in July and is currently trading around 7% below that peak. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
