Four Stocks to Exit F&O Segment Effective April 29, 2026: NSE

The National Stock Exchange will exclude Housing & Urban Development Corporation (

HUDCO
),
PPLPHARMA
,
TATATECH
, and
TORNTPOWER
from the Futures & Options segment effective April 29, 2026. The move follows stricter norms set by Securities and Exchange Board of India in August 2024 to improve liquidity and curb manipulation risks. Under the revised framework, stocks must meet higher MQSoS, MWPL, and ADDV thresholds. Existing February–April 2026 contracts remain valid, but no new F&O series will launch. The tightening aims to filter weak counters and strengthen derivatives market integrity through ongoing compliance reviews. This step mirrors earlier periodic exclusions, reinforcing the exchange’s focus on robust, transparent, and manipulation-resistant trading conditions for participants across India’s evolving equity derivatives ecosystem going forward into 2026 ahead. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
