GSFC Gains 2% as Crop Protection Product Launch Boosts Focus

GSFC gained 2.07% on September 23, 2026, after launching seven crop protection products. Key technical levels remain ₹147 support and ₹166 resistance. Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (

GSFC
) gained 2.07% on September 23, 2026, extending its advance for a second consecutive session after launching seven Sardar-branded crop protection products. GSFC rose 2.07% to close at ₹155.34 after climbing as much as 3.5% during the trading session. The latest move follows the launch of seven new Sardar-branded crop protection products, aimed at expanding the company's agricultural-input portfolio and strengthening its presence in the crop-protection segment. At the current market price, GSFC commands a market capitalisation of around ₹6,003 crore. The stock trades at a P/E ratio of 8.67x and a P/B ratio of 0.49x, while offering a dividend yield of 3.32%. The company reported a sequential improvement in its June 2026 quarter, with revenue, operating profit, and net profit recovering from the March 2026 quarter. Investor sentiment improved following the product launch and stronger quarterly performance. However, the broader technical structure remains weak as the stock continues to trade within a lower low–lower high pattern and remains significantly below its January 2024 peak. Traders may watch whether the recent buying interest translates into a sustained trend reversal. From a technical perspective, ₹147 remains the key near-term support, while ₹138.80 is the major support level. On the upside, ₹166 is the immediate resistance level to monitor.
