Hindustan Zinc Weakens as Metal Stocks Face Heat

HINDZINC
continued to remain under pressure, declining over 6% today and extending its two-day fall to nearly 8%. The stock closed near the day’s low, reflecting strong selling interest throughout the session, and is now trading at its lowest level since 22 December 2025. The weakness is largely sector-driven, with non-ferrous metal stocks facing pressure amid softness in global commodity prices and ongoing macro uncertainty. Selling momentum remained intact as recovery attempts failed to attract sustained buying. The broader metals space also stayed subdued, but Hindustan Zinc underperformed due to continued unwinding of positions. Options-related activity and sector sentiment appear to have amplified the move. The price behaviour highlights cautious positioning in metal stocks as traders reassess demand outlook and global cues. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
