Stock Falls Over 5% After Hitting Record High

On July 2, 2025, Hyundai Motor India Ltd witnessed a sharp decline of over 5%, closing at ₹2,123.70. This correction comes after six consecutive sessions of gains and a strong uptrend that culminated in a record high of ₹2,265.30 on July 1. The stock had shown remarkable strength in June 2025, breaking out of an eight-month consolidation phase and decisively surpassing the key resistance level of ₹1,970, which now acts as strong support. Today's drop appears to be profit-booking following a steep rally, as investors locked in gains after the breakout rally. Despite the short-term pullback, the overall trend is expected to remains positive till prices hold the ₹1,970 support zone.
