LT Foods Surge 15% to Record High as Basmati Stocks Rally

LT Foods shares jumped 14.76% to a record high of ₹490.70 on August 24, while KRBL and AWL Agri Business gained amid a rally in rice stocks.

shares witnessed a sharp rally on August 24, surging as much as 14.76% intraday on the NSE to hit a fresh 52-week high of ₹490.70. The stock surpassed its previous high of ₹480, recorded on September 19, 2025. Trading activity was also unusually strong, with average volume at the counter jumping more than 10-fold. KRBL gained 7.58% intraday, while AWL Agri Business advanced 3.06%, even as the broader market remained relatively subdued. LT Foods is a global consumer-focused specialty food company with businesses spanning basmati rice, organic foods, and ready-to-eat/ready-to-cook products. Its key brands include Daawat in India and Royal in North America, with operations across more than 80 countries. During its Q1 earnings call, management said underlying demand fundamentals remain healthy and expects gradual normalization as the business mix improves. The company also remains optimistic about long-term opportunities in the global organic food market.
