Market Watch: Max Financial Services Plans ₹2,000 Cr Capital Raise

will remain in focus on 13 March after its board approved a fund-raising plan of up to ₹2,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP) or other permissible routes. The proceeds will primarily be used to meet the funding requirements of its key subsidiary, Axis Max Life Insurance, supporting business growth and expansion, while the remaining funds will be allocated for general corporate purposes. (Max Financial Services – Financial Services, MFSL – is the holding company for Max Life Insurance, one of India’s largest private life insurers, and operates as a joint venture with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance.) The stock closed at ₹1,696.2 on 12 March, down 1.7%.
