Maruti Suzuki fell 4.86% to ₹11,386 on 1 October 2026, below its March low, and is down about 34% from its January record high. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd [

MARUTI
] fell 4.86% on Thursday, 1 October 2026, and closed at ₹11,386. The day's low of ₹11,305 is below the March 2026 low of ₹12,201. The stock is about 34% below its record high of ₹17,370 from 5 January 2026. Roughly one third of its market value is gone. In early September, the price broke below a rising trendline drawn from the 2020 low. It has fallen steadily since. Q1 FY27 net profit fell 11% to ₹3,352 crore as material costs rose, even though revenue grew 36% to ₹52,455 crore. The EBITDA margin was 8.22%, down from 11.97% a year ago. I found no news that explains the fall on 1 October. My view: the downtrend is clearly visible on the chart. The trendline break and the weak margin may keep the downtrend intact. The daily RSI is 21.68 and the weekly RSI is 29.84. I am watching ₹12,250 as resistance, near the March low. On the downside, ₹11,000 is the support, close to the 2025 low. A daily close back above the trendline would change the picture. Disclosure & Disclaimer: I and my family members do not hold any position in the stock discussed.
