PI Industries Ltd. Slumps 8.47%, Hits One-Month Low After Weak Q4 Earnings
$PIIND shares plunged up to 8.47% intraday on May 20, 2026, hitting a one-month low of ₹2,860.10 after the company reported weak March quarter earnings. Net profit declined 39% YoY to ₹200.20 crore from ₹330.50 crore, while revenue slipped 12% to ₹1,565.20 crore. The company attributed the weak performance to a 15% fall in Agchem exports amid contraction in the global agrochemical industry. Domestic revenue also softened 9% YoY due to elevated market inventory and pricing pressure, despite marginal volume growth. However, gross margin improved 277 basis points to 58%, offering limited support to overall sentiment. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
