⚡ Tata Power Hits 52-Week High, Then Retraces Amid Selling Pressure

Shares of

TATAPOWER
surged nearly 5% intraday on March 20, 2026, touching a fresh 52-week high of ₹418.45, driven by Gujarat’s approval of a revised power supply pact for the Mundra plant. The rally, however, was short-lived. Most gains came within the first 40 minutes of trade, followed by sharp profit booking that eroded much of the upside. The stock eventually settled with a modest gain of 0.98% amid broader market weakness. While the deal remains a positive trigger, near-term price action suggests caution as selling pressure emerged at higher levels. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
