Whirlpool of India Rebounds From SMA, Ends Five-Day Fall

Whirlpool of India gained over 5.5% on 14 October 2026 after rebounding near the 100-day SMA, but Rs 960 resistance and Rs 793 support define the range. Whirlpool of India Limited [

] shares rose as much as 9.77% on 14 October 2026 before closing with a gain of over 5.5%, ending a five-session losing streak. The rebound came near the 100-day simple moving average (SMA) at Rs 802, while Rs 793 remains a key support level. The stock continues to trade within a broad range of Rs 712 to Rs 960. An earlier recovery from its 52-week low lost momentum near Rs 960, making this level an important resistance. The September rally followed reports of a possible promoter stake sale, which the company later clarified it was not involved in any such discussions. Trading volume remains higher than the levels seen before September, while the relative strength index (RSI) near 53 indicates neutral momentum. My View: The rebound from the 100-day SMA is a positive sign, but a single session of gains does not confirm a trend reversal. A sustained close above Rs 960 with strong volume could signal a breakout, while a close below Rs 793 may expose the stock to further downside towards Rs 712. Until then, the outlook remains neutral within the current range. Disclosure & Disclaimer: I and my family members do not hold any position in the stock discussed.
