YESBANK
reported an impressive Q1 FY27 performance, with net profit rising 33.7% YoY to βΉ1,071 crore, supported by robust business growth and improving operating efficiency. Net Interest Income (NII) grew 17.5% YoY to βΉ2,786 crore, while Net Interest Margin (NIM) expanded to 2.7% from 2.5%, reflecting a lower cost of deposits.
The biggest positive remains asset quality. GNPA improved to 1.3% and NNPA declined to 0.2%, signaling stronger balance-sheet health. Operating profit also jumped 25.5% YoY to βΉ1,704 crore.
Despite the strong numbers, the stock remains in a consolidation phase, down 0.59% in the last session and 1.38% on a weekly basis. However, it has delivered +9.87% YTD and +17% returns over the past year, indicating improving investor confidence.
