BSE Q2 profit up 44.9%, inverse H&S breakout

BSE Ltd Q2 profit rose 44.9% and the 4-hour chart shows an inverse head and shoulders breakout above the neckline. BSE Limited [

BSE
] reported Q2 consolidated profit of Rs 809.1 crore, up 44.9% from Rs 558.4 crore a year ago. Revenue grew 34.1% to Rs 1,432.7 crore from Rs 1,068.4 crore. The stock rose over 5% in morning trade today, 5 November 2026, and was up about 5.7% till 11:30 am. The 4-hour chart shows an inverse head and shoulders pattern. This pattern forms after a fall and can signal that selling pressure is easing. The price broke above the neckline near 3,450 with a strong candle and rose sharply above it. Near-term momentum has improved. RSI on the 4-hour chart is near 75, which is in the overbought zone, so a pause or a retest of the breakout area is possible. What next: The neckline zone near 3,450 may act as support. On the upside, the 3,868 to 3,971 zone is the resistance area to watch. A close above 3,971 may extend the move, while a fall back below 3,450 may weaken the pattern. Conclusion: Higher profit and a breakout support the upward momentum. The stock needs to hold above 3,450 for the structure to stay positive. Disclaimer: I, Akhilesh Jat (SEBI RA Reg. No. INH000016649), do not hold any position in the stock discussed.
