TATAELXSI Q2 Profit Rises 10% After Bounce From Rs 2,996 Low

Tata Elxsi rose for three straight sessions after hitting a five-year low of Rs 2,996. Q2 profit grew 10% to Rs 170.3 crore, while revenue rose 15%. Tata Elxsi Limited [

TATAELXSI
] shares have gained for three consecutive trading sessions, rising approximately 4.5%, 4% and 5%, respectively, after hitting a five-year low of Rs 2,996 on 8 October 2026. It was the first time the stock had traded below Rs 3,000 since April 2021. The stock's last reported close was Rs 3,426.70. The company reported a 10% year-on-year increase in Q2 profit to Rs 170.3 crore from Rs 154.8 crore. Revenue rose 15% to Rs 1,055.7 crore from Rs 918.1 crore. The results may influence investor sentiment in the next trading session. Technically, the stock remains in a prolonged downtrend from the Rs 6,700 zone, characterised by lower highs and lower lows. However, the recent rebound has pushed the price above its simple moving average (SMA) at Rs 3,211. Rising trading volume and an RSI near 59 indicate improving momentum. My View: The rebound signals improving near-term momentum, but a confirmed trend reversal remains uncertain. Rs 2,996 is the key support, while Rs 3,860 is the immediate resistance. A sustained close above Rs 3,860 could signal a potential trend change, whereas a breakdown below Rs 2,996 would reinforce the bearish outlook.
