Adani Enterprises Forms $11.5 Bn Aluminium JV to Make Odisha a Global Supply Chain Hub

$ADANIENT and IHC Group's IRH have formed a 50:50 joint venture to develop a ₹1.08 lakh crore (USD 11.5 billion) integrated greenfield aluminium project in Odisha, comprising a 4 MMTPA alumina refinery, 2 MMTPA smelter, 4,000 MW captive power plant, and 1 MMTPA downstream manufacturing park. The two-phase project, formalized via an MoU signed on July 2, 2026, is expected to generate 53,500 jobs and aims to position Odisha as a global aluminium supply chain hub.
