signed two contracts worth ₹62,700 crore with the Ministry of Defence for 156 Light Combat Helicopters (LCHs) for the Indian Air Force and Army. The LCH, India’s first indigenous combat helicopter, will be delivered over five years. HAL shares rose nearly 1% to ₹4,179.90 on NSE, with the stock surging 35% in March, its highest monthly gain in five years.
