KIMS has announced a strategic expansion into Tamil Nadu through a leave and license agreement with Andhra Mahila Sabha. The company will establish a 300-bed super specialty hospital on 1.168 acres of land in Chennai, marking its first presence in the state. The project involves an investment of approximately ₹300 crores, to be funded through bank loans and internal accruals. The implementation timeline is set at 36 months. This expansion adds to the company's current network of 8,800 beds across multiple states, which currently operates at 51% capacity utilization.
