LUPIN
has received U.S. FDA approval for Armlupeg (pegfilgrastim-unne), its first biosimilar drug. Armlupeg is a biosimilar to Neulasta, with estimated annual sales of $1,295 million in the U.S. The 6mg/0.6mL injection is manufactured at Lupin's Biotech facility in Pune, India. It's indicated for reducing infection risk in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and increasing survival in patients exposed to myelosuppressive radiation doses.
