SWIGGY
has raised its platform fee to ₹15 per order, the steepest increase since the charge was introduced last year, as it seeks to cash in on festive-season demand and narrow widening losses. The Bengaluru-based firm’s latest hike marks the third change in as many weeks. Swiggy briefly raised the platform fee to ₹14 on August 15 before settling back at ₹12. With order volumes climbing again, the fee has now been increased to ₹15. Zomato has also raised its platform fee to ₹12 during the festive season.
