Indian equities ended lower amid a volatile session, with the Nifty declining 126.80 points, or 0.5%, to 24,207.75, while the Sensex slipped 183.15 points, or 0.2%, to 77,472.94. The India VIX fell 4.6% to 10.56, indicating a decline in near-term market volatility.
