Q1 Profit Hits Record ₹7,013 Crore as Aluminium Prices Surge

The company plans to prioritise execution of ongoing projects worth around ₹50,000 crore while evaluating additional investments to drive long-term growth. Industries reported record quarterly profit and revenue for the June quarter, aided by an almost 50% year-on-year increase in aluminium prices and a recovery in operations at Novelis.
Consolidated net profit jumped 75% year-on-year to ₹7,013 crore, while revenue from operations increased 32% to ₹84,825 crore. EBITDA climbed 73% to ₹14,989 crore during the quarter.
Managing Director Satish Pai said the company’s immediate focus will remain on executing its existing projects efficiently. The strong quarterly performance also lifted Hindalco shares, which advanced sharply on both the BSE and NSE.
