Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today chaired the Pre-Budget Consultation with States and Union Territories (with Legislatures) in New Delhi ahead of the Union Budget 2026–27. The meeting focused on gathering inputs from state governments and UTs on fiscal priorities, sectoral needs, and policy suggestions for the forthcoming Budget.
