Mahindra & Mahindra Q2 FY27 Profit Jumps 25% to ₹4,588 Crore

M&M Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) reported a strong financial performance for the second quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit increasing 25% year-on-year to ₹4,588 crore, compared with ₹3,673 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated revenue rose 25% to ₹57,553 crore from ₹46,106 crore, reflecting robust demand across its automotive and financial services businesses. The results were announced on November 5, 2026. The company’s automotive business remained the key growth driver, with consolidated revenue increasing 39% year-on-year to ₹37,756 crore and profit after tax rising 55% to ₹2,388 crore. SUV volumes grew 26%, while M&M maintained its leadership position in the SUV segment with a revenue market share of 24.3%. The farm equipment business witnessed comparatively weaker performance, with revenue declining 6% and profit after tax falling 9%, partly due to a shift in the festive season. M&M continued to strengthen its market position across key segments, reporting a 41.5% market share in tractors, 52.3% in light commercial vehicles below 3.5 tonnes, and 30.1% revenue market share in electric SUVs. Mahindra Finance recorded 15% growth in assets under management, while Tech Mahindra reported a 33% increase in profit after tax and an EBIT margin of 14.8%. The company’s diversified business portfolio and strong automotive demand remain important factors for its future growth outlook.
