BCCL fell more than 5% today, while Oracle Financial Services Software gained nearly 6% following their quarterly results announcements. Bharat Coking Coal Limited, a recently listed subsidiary of Coal India Limited, reported a 15% year-on-year drop in fourth-quarter revenue to ₹3,282.95 crore, compared to ₹3,865.79 crore in the same period last year. Net profit also declined sharply, falling nearly 60% to ₹27.2 crore from ₹66.5 crore a year ago. Meanwhile, shares of Trent Limited slipped as much as 4% despite the company posting strong Q4 earnings. Investor sentiment was weighed down by its ₹2,500 crore fund-raising plan, along with concerns flagged by brokerages about the demand outlook. The stock dropped to an intraday low of ₹4,255, making it the top loser on the Nifty 50.
