BHARATFORG

Bharat Forge Limited shares climbed nearly 5 per cent on Thursday after the company announced its March-quarter results and declared a final dividend for FY26. For the January—March quarter, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 2,260 crore, up from Rs 2,163 crore in the corresponding period last year. Bharat Forge posted a net loss of Rs 118 crore in Q4 FY26, compared with a profit after tax of Rs 346 crore in the year-ago quarter. The loss was primarily attributed to a one-time charge of Rs 493 crore, mainly related to an impairment provision in one of its subsidiaries. The company also noted a recovery in demand from the North American truck market during the quarter. Along with its earnings announcement, Bharat Forge recommended a final dividend of Rs 6.50 per equity share of face value Rs 2 each for FY26, equivalent to 325 per cent. The dividend is subject to shareholders’ approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. If approved, the payout will be made on or after August 14, 2026.
