KALYANKJIL
Kalyan Jewellers India extended their winning streak for a fifth straight session on Tuesday, rising nearly 5 percent in morning trade to emerge among the top gainers on the BSE Midcap index. The sustained rally reflects continued investor optimism over the jewellery retailer's long-term growth prospects. The stock climbed 4.8 percent to Rs 535, taking its cumulative gains to 50.8 percent over the past five trading sessions. The sharp rally has added nearly Rs 18,500 crore to the company's market capitalisation, which stood at around Rs 55,000 crore during the session. The recent surge has also reversed the stock's year-to-date performance. After being down more than 26 percent just a week ago, Kalyan Jewellers has now gained about 10.3 percent in 2026, significantly outperforming the Nifty 50, which has declined 7.5 percent over the same period. The rally was sparked last week after Citigroup reiterated its 'Buy' rating on the stock while maintaining a target price of Rs 750 per share. Despite the stock's more than 50 percent jump since then, Citi's target still suggests further upside from current levels.
