Nestle India reported a strong performance for the fourth quarter, with standalone net profit rising nearly 26% year-on-year to Rs 1,114.1 crore, driven by revenue growth outpacing expenses. The result significantly exceeded Street expectations. Investor sentiment turned sharply positive, pushing the company’s shares up more than 8% to a fresh 52-week high on Tuesday. On a consolidated basis, net profit increased 27% year-on-year to Rs 1,111 crore for the January–March quarter of FY26, further boosting confidence. The strong standalone performance was supported by double-digit volume growth, aided by a more than 50% rise in advertising spending, while maintaining a healthy EBITDA margin of 26.3%. Nestle India also announced a final dividend of Rs 5 per share (face value Re 1). Following the earnings release, the stock gained momentum and was trading 5.4% higher at Rs 1,356 on the NSE.
