STL TECHNOLOGIES IN FOCUS AFTER ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ORDER

STLTECH
Sterlite Technologies (STL) is in focus after the Andhra Pradesh High Court at Amaravati partly allowed the company’s writ petition related to the Kakinada Smart City contract. The matter concerns the development and implementation of Smart City solutions in Kakinada and falls under STL’s Global Services business. The development comes after a strong Q1 FY27 performance. STL reported record quarterly revenue, EBITDA and order book, with an order book of ₹18,618 crore, EBITDA of ₹397 crore and PAT of ₹197 crore. The company also said its balance sheet had become net debt-free, highlighting a significant improvement in financial position. STL continues to benefit from strong demand for AI data-centre and optical connectivity infrastructure. Its subsidiary recently announced a supply agreement worth over $1 billion with a hyperscaler for AI-ready data-centre build-outs, while the company is also expanding its optical connectivity portfolio in the US. These developments keep AI infrastructure, data centres and large international orders as key growth drivers for the stock.
