Suzlon Energy reported a 6% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for the June quarter of FY27, with profit falling to Rs 305 crore from Rs 324 crore in the corresponding period last year. Despite the decline in profit, the wind energy solutions provider posted strong revenue growth. Revenue from operations increased 22.5% year-on-year to Rs 3,819 crore, compared with Rs 3,117 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company's board also approved the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore to strengthen its international wind energy business and expand its operations and maintenance services (OMS). In a separate development, Suzlon announced the appointment of Anjali Byce as Group Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), effective July 29, 2026. She has also been designated as one of the company's Senior Management Personnel (SMPs). The company said Rajendra Mehta stepped down as Group CHRO and ceased to be a Senior Management Personnel with effect from the close of business hours on July 28, 2026. Byce holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development. She has also completed executive education at IMD Business School.
