TATASTEEL
Tata Steel reported a strong performance for the March quarter, with consolidated net profit surging 146.9% year-on-year to ₹2,965 crore, driven by record crude steel production and improved operational efficiency. Revenue from operations rose 12.5% to ₹63,270 crore, while EBITDA increased 47% to ₹9,953 crore with margins of around 16%. The company’s India business remained the key growth driver, reporting revenue of ₹38,654 crore and EBITDA margin of 25%, supported by a 14% rise in crude steel production to 6.22 million tons. The company’s Netherlands business posted positive EBITDA of €58 million, while the UK operations continued to remain under pressure with an EBITDA loss of £48 million due to weak demand conditions. Meanwhile, Tata Steel’s board recommended a dividend of ₹4 per equity share for FY26 and fixed June 12, 2026, as the record date. Subject to shareholder approval at the AGM scheduled on July 2, the dividend payment will begin from July 6, 2026.
