Titan Company shares rose more than 2.5 percent in early trade on Tuesday after the Tata Group's jewellery and lifestyle retailer reported a robust business update for the June quarter, reinforcing positive sentiment among brokerages. The stock climbed 2.56 percent to Rs 4,599, emerging as the top gainer on the Nifty 50. Titan has gained 10.8 percent so far in 2026, significantly outperforming the benchmark Nifty 50, which has declined 6.6 percent over the same period. The company currently has a market capitalisation of around Rs 3.98 lakh crore. Titan reported a 41 percent year-on-year growth in its consumer businesses during the first quarter of FY27, supported by strong demand across its jewellery, watches, eyewear and emerging businesses. Its domestic business grew 37 percent, while international operations recorded an impressive 128 percent growth. The company also expanded its retail footprint by adding 77 stores during the quarter, taking its total store count to 3,680. The jewellery segment remained the key growth driver, with domestic jewellery revenue rising 39 percent year-on-year, led by strong performances from Tanishq, Mia and Zoya. The company also reported a 42 percent increase in CaratLane's business, healthy growth in its customer base with buyer additions in the early double digits, and sustained momentum across its watches, eyewear and international businesses.
