JSWSTEEL
reported a solid operational and financial performance in Q4FY25, with consolidated crude steel production rising 12% YoY to 7.63 million tonnes and capacity utilization in Indian operations reaching 93%. Steel sales increased by 11% YoY to 7.49 million tonnes, leading to a 14% sequential rise in operating EBITDA to Rs 6,378 crore. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 44,819 crore, and the company posted a PAT of Rs 1,501 crore after accounting for a Rs 44 crore exceptional charge. JSW Steel also improved its balance sheet metrics, reducing net gearing to 0.94x and Net Debt to EBITDA to 3.34x by the end of the quarter. For FY25, the company achieved its highest-ever crude steel production of 27.79 million tonnes and saleable steel sales of 26.45 million tonnes. Full-year revenue from operations reached Rs 1,68,824 crore, while operating EBITDA came in at Rs 22,904 crore. These figures reflect JSW Steel’s focus on volume growth and operational efficiency amid a challenging commodity environment.
