Zydus Life science & Agenus Cancer Therapy Licensing Deal

–Agenus Cancer Therapy Licensing Deal Zydus Lifesciences has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with US-based Agenus Inc. to commercialize the investigational cancer therapy Botensilimab (BOT) and Balstilimab (BAL) in India and Sri Lanka. Under the deal, Zydus will handle clinical development and regulatory approvals in both countries. Upon approval and commercialization, Zydus will pay 5% royalty on net sales to Agenus. The agreement grants Zydus access to Agenus' next-generation immunotherapy platform, which has shown strong clinical activity across nine cancer types in over 1,200 patients. Dr. Sharvil Patel emphasized that this partnership supports Zydus’ focus on advancing innovative biologic therapies for areas with significant unmet medical needs.
