Nifty Pre-Open: Range Holds Between 24,100 and 24,287
As anticipated, bulls failed to sustain above the falling window resistance at 24,287 — sellers defended the level and pushed the index lower through the session. The index tested the flagged support near 24,130, making a low of 24,144 before a late recovery brought the close to 24,219, up 0.15%. RSI settled at 52.97, right at the midpoint, reflecting the indecision in this range-bound move.
The range remains unchanged: 24,287 (falling window resistance) and 24,320 (falling channel upper line) are the levels that matter on the upside — a sustained 30-min close above both would confirm the channel breakout and open the path toward 24,400+. On the downside, 24,130 has been tested and held, with 24,100–24,080 as the next support cluster and 24,010 as the critical floor below that.
Until a breakout above 24,320 is confirmed, this stays a range to trade rather than a trend to chase — every recovery toward 24,287 remains a potential selling zone, and every dip toward 24,100–24,130 a buying zone.
